Responsibilities

  • Assess the feasibility of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations of government interventions
  • Design robust quantitative evaluations with UNICEF country offices and government counterparts
  • Manage and support implementation of strategic evaluations using counterfactual methods
  • Strengthen national evaluation capacity through technical guidance on quantitative methodologies
  • Communicate complex analysis to government counterparts and UNICEF teams

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, social sciences, public policy or another relevant field
  • At least eight years of experience managing and conducting quantitative evaluations or empirical research at national and international levels
  • Experience using government data for experimental or quasi-experimental evaluation, regression analysis and policy modelling
  • Experience communicating complex analysis and supporting government-led evaluations in high-income and upper-middle-income settings
  • Excellent written and oral English
