Responsibilities
- Assess the feasibility of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations of government interventions
- Design robust quantitative evaluations with UNICEF country offices and government counterparts
- Manage and support implementation of strategic evaluations using counterfactual methods
- Strengthen national evaluation capacity through technical guidance on quantitative methodologies
- Communicate complex analysis to government counterparts and UNICEF teams
Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics, social sciences, public policy or another relevant field
- At least eight years of experience managing and conducting quantitative evaluations or empirical research at national and international levels
- Experience using government data for experimental or quasi-experimental evaluation, regression analysis and policy modelling
- Experience communicating complex analysis and supporting government-led evaluations in high-income and upper-middle-income settings
- Excellent written and oral English
