Overview
Engineers the World Bank’s enterprise agentic AI framework and intelligence platform. The officer builds orchestration, memory, observability and evaluation capabilities, defines reusable RAG and MCP patterns, embeds security and responsible-AI controls, and guides delivery teams.

Responsibilities
- Build core components of the enterprise agentic framework and intelligence platform
- Develop atomic agents, orchestration patterns, the MCP hub and reusable engineering components
- Implement persistent memory, observability, evaluation suites and CI/CD quality gates
- Define reference architectures for RAG, retrieval and multi-document synthesis
- Embed responsible-AI, security and data-governance controls
- Provide technical enablement and delivery oversight to business teams and partners
Requirements
- Master’s degree with five years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with seven years, or an equivalent combination
- At least three years of enterprise-scale AI engineering or machine-learning experience
- SAFe or another relevant Agile certification
- Industry-recognized AI engineering, platform architecture, cloud or related certification
