EdTech State Consultant

Advises Maharashtra’s education authorities on a scalable, equitable and climate-resilient EdTech ecosystem, helping government, academic and civil-society partners build capacity, align technology with pedagogy and improve retention and learning outcomes for secondary-school students.

• Advise Maharashtra’s education department on an equitable and scalable EdTech ecosystem
• Align digital technology with pedagogical priorities and curriculum-based learning resources
• Build government capacity to use technology for retention and secondary-school learning outcomes
• Train teachers, school leaders and district education staff in technology-enabled learning
• Coordinate with government, academic, civil-society and EdTech stakeholders
• Develop evidence-based approaches that reach marginalised learners and improve climate resilience

• Master’s degree in Education or a related Social Sciences field
• At least five years of experience in Education and EdTech
• Experience engaging state government, non-profit organisations, EdTech organisations, universities, professional associations and other stakeholders
• Experience building the capacity of teachers, school leaders or district education staff in technology-enabled learning
• Advanced writing, editing, analysis and reporting skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Remote national consultancy for 16 months with travel
