Donor Care Officer

UNRWA is recruiting a Donor Care Officer for its External Relations and Communications Department in Amman. The officer will handle donor inquiries and account updates, maintain accurate CRM records, prepare donor communications and improve donor-care systems. The role also analyses donor feedback, supports fundraising campaigns and works with digital-fundraising and donor-retention teams to strengthen engagement and service quality.

• Respond to donor inquiries and manage donor accounts
• Process contribution updates, cancellations and payment modifications
• Maintain accurate and confidential CRM donor records
• Prepare acknowledgements, thank-you letters and stewardship updates
• Improve donor-care systems, workflows and reporting
• Analyse donor feedback and support fundraising campaigns

• University degree in communications, business administration, marketing, international relations or a related field
• At least four years of donor relations, customer service, communications or related programme experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• English at UN Level III and Arabic at UN Level II
• Residence in Jordan within commuting distance and authorization to work at the duty station

• Experience with NGOs, humanitarian organizations or fundraising
• Experience with CRM systems and digital platforms
• Understanding of Palestine refugee context and UNRWA operations
