Overview
Coordinates IFRC’s route-based migration programme across Africa, supporting 17 National Societies to plan, implement, monitor and report assistance and protection for people on the move. The role develops regional systems, learning products, partnerships and resource mobilisation.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation, monitoring and reporting for the route-based migration programme across Africa
- Support 17 National Societies to design and deliver migration assistance and protection activities
- Develop regional coordination roles, responsibilities, reporting systems and programme indicators
- Monitor regional activities, funding streams, plans and donor reporting requirements
- Produce tools, guides, research and learning materials and facilitate exchanges among National Societies
- Coordinate donor mapping, outreach, resource mobilisation, budget allocation and contracting support
- Represent the programme in regional and global forums and coordinate with the global programme team
Requirements
- University degree in political or social sciences, international law, international relations, human rights or an equivalent field
- At least five years of experience in migration and displacement
- Relevant work experience in the African regional context
- Experience coordinating migration and displacement projects or activities
- Experience across the project-management cycle, including proposals, logical frameworks, financial management, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
- Fluent spoken and written English and French
