Responsibilities
- Oversee labour-mobility, border-governance and migrant-protection programmes in Kenya
- Develop policies, strategies and new projects responding to migration-management needs
- Align programme planning with government priorities and inter-agency frameworks
- Coordinate partners and provide strategic and operational information in sector forums
- Supervise project staff and provide training on coherent programme delivery
- Ensure donor reporting compliance and mitigate reporting delays and inaccuracies
- Develop proposals and brief donors to mobilise programme resources
- Conduct assessments, monitoring, liaison and project-development missions
Requirements
- Master degree in social science, international relations, development studies, law or a related field with five years of experience, or a bachelor degree with seven years of experience
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience delivering migration-management projects across varied contexts
- Strong project implementation, monitoring and reporting experience
- Experience in policy and strategy development
- Fluency in spoken and written English
