Provides senior strategic and technical support for a regional multi-communicable disease elimination framework and investment case. The consultant advises on integrated disease packages and helps participating countries strengthen health care-associated infection surveillance and sustainability planning.

• Provide strategic and written technical input to finalise the regional MCDE framework
• Consult technical experts and consolidate their contributions to the framework and strategy document
• Review and refine the MCDE strategy document for Regional Committee implementation
• Advise on the communicable-disease elements of the MCDE investment case and review OECD-produced content
• Develop two integrated multi-communicable disease elimination packages
• Supervise and evaluate implementation with two countries participating in the HAI surveillance project
• Support HAI point prevalence surveys and contribute to the agenda and delivery of the sustainability workshop

• Master's degree in medicine with specialisation in public health and/or infectious diseases
• More than ten years of experience as an infectious-disease specialist and at ministerial level, including clinical, leadership and policy-development experience
