Consultant·e national·e pour la conception et la facilitation de formations sur les normes sociales de genre

Contextualises UN Women’s regional training tools on gender norms and masculinities for Morocco. The consultant develops an Arabic facilitation kit, leads capacity-building sessions for youth-sector officials, evaluates learning and integrates partner feedback to support gender-transformative work with young people.

Department: Morocco Country Office

• Review Moroccan policies and initiatives on gender norms, masculinities and youth
• Identify required cultural and institutional adaptations to regional training tools
• Adapt modules, examples, methods and evidence with UN Women and ministry teams
• Develop an Arabic training kit with facilitation guides, glossary and interactive exercises
• Prepare and deliver two in-person two-day training sessions for youth-ministry officials
• Analyse participation, comprehension and pre- and post-training feedback
• Recommend additional capacity needs and wider deployment approaches
• Coordinate validation and integrate partner feedback into final materials

• Master’s degree in social sciences, humanities, human rights, gender, international development or an equivalent field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least five years of experience in teaching or adult training
• Experience developing educational content, knowledge products, toolkits or practical guides
• Fluency in Arabic and French
• Moroccan nationality

• Assignment is home-based with two trips in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region
• Selected candidates undergo academic, employment, reference and background checks
