Communications Consultant for Selo UNICEF

Coordinates communication capacity, digital systems and partner engagement for UNICEF Brazil’s Municipal Seal initiative. The consultant develops workshops, guidance and platform improvements that help implementing partners deliver consistent, accessible communication and municipal advocacy across participating municipalities.

• Coordinate communication activities for the UNICEF Municipal Seal
• Assess partner communication needs and provide tailored technical guidance
• Develop workshop packages to strengthen implementing-partner capacity
• Diagnose and improve digital platforms and coordination channels
• Produce practical communication templates and guidance materials
• Design a scalable municipal advocacy pilot and readiness package
• Prepare final handover documentation for the consultancy

• Professional experience in communication, public relations, journalism, digital communication, advocacy or communication-related project management
• At least three years of progressively responsible professional experience
• Fluency in Portuguese
• Working knowledge of English
• Brazilian nationality

• Experience communicating on children’s rights, public policy, education, health, social protection, adolescent participation or equity
• Experience with UNICEF-supported initiatives, municipal programmes, implementing partners, digital communities, WhatsApp-based communication or local capacity-building
• Familiarity with the UNICEF Municipal Seal or similar territorial programmes
