National Communication Consultant- Libya Country Office

Lead bilingual communications for UNFPA Libya, turning programme results into ethical public content and stronger strategic positioning. The consultant manages digital channels, media relations, campaigns and events, produces photography and video, tracks performance, and safeguards consent and sensitive stories.

• Develop the country communications plan, editorial calendar and performance framework
• Draft and edit bilingual stories, media materials, speeches and donor updates
• Manage website and social-media channels and digital campaigns
• Monitor media, engagement analytics and reputational risks
• Coordinate press events, campaigns, high-level visits and UN communications
• Produce photography, video, graphics and multimedia content
• Maintain a searchable communications and consent archive
• Report performance and coach colleagues on content quality

• First university degree in communications, journalism, public information, media studies, digital communications, political science, international relations or related field
• At least two years of communications, public-information, journalism, digital-media or multimedia-production experience
• Proven bilingual writing and editing in Arabic and English
• Photography, videography or graphic-design portfolio
• Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English
