Overview
Supports UNDP Sierra Leone’s communications strategy through writing, digital content, campaigns, events and knowledge products. The intern helps synthesize programme information, maintain communications dashboards and calendars, and prepare presentations and public-facing materials.

Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the country office communications strategy, annual plan and performance indicators
- Draft stories, opinion pieces, talking points, press releases and social media content
- Synthesize information supplied by UNDP programme teams for communications use
- Prepare presentations, pitch decks, toolkits and process documents
- Maintain communications dashboards and meeting calendars
- Help curate and coordinate events, campaigns and workshops
- Develop event materials and promote activities through relevant channels
Requirements
- Current enrolment in a graduate programme, enrolment in the final academic year of a bachelor’s programme, or graduation from an eligible university programme within the previous year
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
