Innovative Finance Communication Consultant

UNICEF seeks a communications consultant for its Helsinki Innovative Finance Hub to implement its communication plan, create advocacy and visibility materials, coordinate external engagement and events, and strengthen awareness of child-lens investing across the financial ecosystem.

• Develop communication materials for advocacy, visibility and internal engagement
• Draft web articles, stories, newsletters, multimedia content and press releases
• Maintain Hub website and intranet content with organisational focal points
• Prepare advocacy messages, briefing notes, presentations and prospect pitches
• Coordinate contributors, events, conferences and external communication partners
• Track communication activities and recommend improvements from media monitoring

• Bachelor degree in communication, public relations, journalism, mass media, advertisement, international development, sustainability studies or a related field
• Two years of relevant experience or a relevant master degree in lieu of the experience
• English and ability to read Finnish media and communications

• Experience in the UN system and familiarity with child rights
