Job Description
Advances IOM Philippines' climate mobility and displacement portfolio by building partnerships, shaping projects and integrating climate action across programmes. Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop partnerships on climate change and human mobility with government, civil society and private-sector actors
- Support climate mobility policy and programming with government agencies and UN coordination mechanisms
- Design project workplans and implementation strategies aligned with government and donor priorities
- Integrate climate action across IOM intervention areas and support project delivery
- Develop research, data and knowledge-management initiatives on climate change and mobility
- Prepare strategic documents, donor reports and communications materials on climate action
Role Requirements
- Degree in international development, environment, political or social science, international relations or a related field
- Experience designing, developing or managing climate change or migration policies, programmes or projects
- Experience in coordination and liaison with government bodies, UN agencies and civil society
- Experience in communications and strategic writing
- Fluency in English and Filipino
Desired Criteria
- Experience in fundraising and resource mobilisation for climate action
- Experience in research and knowledge management
- Familiarity with IOM programmes and the region
- Knowledge of intergovernmental climate, disaster-risk-reduction and migration mechanisms
