Business Transformation Officer

Leads WFP Rwanda’s technology team and translates operational needs into digital services and transformation initiatives. The officer analyses requirements, governs service levels, manages change and business cases, improves processes, guides staff and ensures continuity for emergency and humanitarian operations.

Department: Technology Division

• Capture, analyse and document business requirements for digital solutions and services
• Track requirements through implementation and test solutions against business needs
• Manage the technology service catalogue, service levels and user satisfaction
• Develop business cases, estimates, plans and change-management approaches for transformation initiatives
• Identify process-improvement, innovation and digital-transformation opportunities with stakeholders
• Lead the country technology team and guide junior staff on complex analysis
• Maintain business-continuity and disaster-recovery arrangements supporting emergency operations

• Advanced university degree in computer science, engineering or another relevant technology field
• At least three years of progressively responsible postgraduate experience in information-technology management, digital transformation, business-process reengineering, enterprise systems or organisational change
• Experience leading IT functions, digital strategy or business-transformation initiatives in a large geographically dispersed organisation
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technology teams and external service providers
• Experience managing ICT budgets, vendor contracts and partnerships
• Fluency in English at level C
• Knowledge of Kinyarwanda

• Fixed-term appointment for 12 months with possible extension subject to performance and funding
