Job Description
Provides budget, finance and work-plan support for WHO's country office in South Africa. The assistant prepares and clears financial transactions, monitors funds and accounts, reconciles records and advises staff on rules, helping managers maintain compliant programme delivery and reliable financial reporting.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare biennial work plans and allocate project funds
- Review transactions and provide budgetary clearance
- Advise staff on financial rules and procedures
- Review vouchers and issue payment instructions
- Prepare financial and work-plan reports
- Reconcile eImprest accounts and support account closure
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- At least 10 years of relevant programme-management or budget-monitoring experience
- Expert knowledge of English
Desired Criteria
- University degree in Finance, Management or Public Administration
- Project-management certification
- WHO programme-management and ERP experience
