Associate Treasury Officer

The officer manages daily IAEA liquidity and treasury operations by monitoring cash positions, investing excess funds, booking investments and foreign-exchange transactions, checking limits and credit ratings, supporting investment and audit reporting, and improving processes with technology.

• Monitor daily cash positions, liquidity needs and financial exposures
• Plan cash requirements and maintain optimal current-account balances
• Book investment and foreign-exchange transactions
• Monitor investment limits, ceilings, issuers and credit ratings
• Prepare information for the Investment Committee and auditors
• Test system changes and recommend treasury process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of investments, foreign exchange and transaction recording
• High integrity, accuracy and attention to detail

• Fixed-term extrabudgetary appointment
• Two-year initial duration
• Selection may establish a roster for similar positions
