Asistente de Gestión de Alojamientos (CCCM)

Supports daily management of temporary shelters serving people displaced by the La Guaira earthquake. The role monitors needs and protection risks, strengthens community participation and accountability, coordinates humanitarian services and produces evidence for emergency planning.

Department: CCCM/Shelter/NFI

• Monitor temporary shelters and neighbouring communities for adequate assistance and protection
• Assess needs, vulnerabilities and gaps in service delivery
• Support shelter governance and community-management mechanisms
• Promote inclusive participation of displaced and vulnerable groups
• Maintain information-sharing, feedback and accountability mechanisms
• Coordinate humanitarian actors, service providers and local authorities
• Support rapid assessments and emergency responses to new displacement
• Collect and report protection, site and humanitarian-planning information

• Completed university education
• Previous experience in community work, support to displaced populations and operational activities
• Intercultural sensitivity and a gender-responsive approach
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Availability to travel to other Venezuelan states

• Full-time on-site consultancy based in La Guaira
• Contract duration is six months
• Fee is USD 1,400 per month
• Consultants must provide their own non-occupational medical insurance
