VT Instructor (General Electrician)

UNRWA seeks entry-level vocational instructors for two Lebanon training centres to design and deliver general-electrician learning, assess practical and theoretical skills, apply quality and occupational-safety standards, use labour-market information and support digital and green training.

Department: Siblin and Nahr El Bared Training Centres

• Support the design of vocational learning programmes, curricula and instructional materials
• Prepare and deliver inclusive classroom, laboratory, workshop and workplace training
• Develop and administer formative, summative, practical and knowledge assessments
• Use labour-market information and employer links to identify training and skills needs
• Apply the UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework throughout the training cycle
• Integrate occupational safety, green skills and digital skills into course delivery
• Coordinate teaching, learner discipline and co-curricular activities with centre colleagues

• Completed secondary education plus two years of post-secondary technical education or training directly related to general electrical work
• English at UN Level II across reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Arabic at UN Level I across reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Residence in Lebanon within commuting distance of the duty station and current authorisation to work there

• The published grade is Grade 9; the contradictory structured grade hint of 11 was rejected in favour of the official title and body
• The daily rate is USD 58.55
