TVET Instructor (Information Technology)

UNRWA seeks entry-level information-technology instructors for two Lebanon training centres to design and deliver technical learning, assess practical and theoretical skills, apply quality and occupational-safety standards, use labour-market information and advance digital training.

Department: Siblin and Nahr El Bared Training Centres

• Design vocational learning programmes, curricula and instructional materials for information technology
• Prepare and deliver inclusive classroom, laboratory, workshop and workplace training
• Develop and administer formative, summative, practical and knowledge assessments
• Build employer and instructor links and use labour-market information to identify skills needs
• Apply the UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework throughout the training cycle
• Design green and digital learning programmes and facilitate synchronous and asynchronous sessions
• Coordinate teaching, learner discipline and co-curricular activities with centre colleagues

• Four-year university degree from an accredited institution with a major specialisation in information technology or the subject taught
• English at UN Level II across reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Arabic at UN Level I across reading, writing, listening and speaking
• Residence in Lebanon within commuting distance of the duty station and current authorisation to work there

• The published grade is Grade 11; the contradictory structured grade hint of 13 was rejected in favour of the official title and body
• The daily rate is USD 62.52
