Responsibilities
- Reconstruct the project Theory of Change and develop an evaluation framework
- Review project documents and design data-collection methods, site selection and schedules
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and field visits while protecting confidentiality
- Assess project performance, results, sustainability and implementation factors
- Prepare inception, draft and final evaluation reports and an evaluation brief
- Respond to review comments while preserving independent evaluative judgement
- Maintain professional relationships with project stakeholders throughout the evaluation
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in environmental sciences, international development, political science, social science or a related field, or the stated bachelor’s-degree alternative with qualifying experience
- At least ten years of technical or evaluation experience
- Experience applying Theory of Change approaches
- English proficiency
- Spanish proficiency
- No prior involvement in the project being evaluated
