Senior Evaluation Officer

Leads complex evaluations for the Global Environment Facility’s independent office in Washington, D.C. The consultant designs methods, directs analysis, manages multidisciplinary teams and budgets, assures evidence quality, presents findings to the GEF Council and develops learning products and evaluation capacity.

Department: GEF Independent Evaluation Office

• Lead thematic, programmatic and corporate evaluations
• Design evaluation frameworks, methods and analytical approaches
• Oversee data collection, analysis and major evaluation reports
• Present findings to GEF leadership and governance bodies
• Develop synthesis notes, learning products and verification studies
• Provide methodological leadership and quality assurance
• Lead and mentor staff and consultants
• Represent the evaluation office with external partners and networks
