Responsibilities

  • Guide country teams and partners in designing and implementing programmes aligned with CRPD principles and Fund standards
  • Identify programme implementation gaps and coordinate targeted technical solutions with thematic focal points
  • Design induction sessions, thematic webinars and accessible training resources for programme partners
  • Monitor programme delivery and assure the quality of outputs, tools and knowledge products
  • Guide participatory engagement with organisations of persons with disabilities
  • Document lessons and good practices through guidance notes, learning exchanges and communities of practice
  • Contribute programme evidence to monitoring reports, performance reviews and Fund knowledge products

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in social or public policy, political science, economics, urban development, development studies, human rights law, disability studies or a related field, or a relevant bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience with a master's degree, or seven years with a bachelor's degree, in international development cooperation and CRPD implementation
  • Experience designing and implementing disability-rights programmes in international cooperation and developing-country contexts
  • Experience working with organisations of persons with disabilities and underrepresented disability groups
  • Fluency in English
