Technical Officer, Immunization

Strengthens Argentina’s national immunization programme through technical cooperation on vaccination strategies, disease surveillance, data quality, vaccine safety and supply systems. The officer supports health authorities to improve coverage, equity and evidence-based programme decisions.

• Support planning, implementation and evaluation of national and subnational immunization strategies
• Strengthen vaccine-preventable disease surveillance and outbreak preparedness and response
• Improve immunization data quality, coverage analysis and information-system use
• Develop dashboards, reports and country profiles for immunization indicators and RIAP2030 targets
• Support vaccine safety, cold-chain management, logistics and supply monitoring
• Guide evidence review, planning, training and monitoring for new vaccine introduction
• Coordinate communication and community engagement with health authorities and technical partners
• Promote equitable access to vaccination through evidence-based technical cooperation

• Recognised university degree in medicine, nursing, public health, epidemiology, health sciences or another field related to the post
• Three years of national professional experience in public-health programmes involving immunization, disease surveillance, epidemiology, primary health care or programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English
• Essential proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Word

• Salary: ARS 5,066,218.50 per month
• Initial assignment is 11 months with possible extension subject to performance and funding
