Overview

Provides administrative and operational support to the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies. The role manages correspondence, records, schedules, meetings, data and administrative requests while helping colleagues use office systems and deliver unit outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office support and draft routine correspondence and complex documents
  • Monitor schedules, outputs, approvals and supporting documentation
  • Compile information and reference materials for reports, plans and meetings
  • Proofread documents and maintain editorial and formatting standards
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, calendars, communications and presentation materials
  • Process administrative requests covering procurement, travel, contracts and expenditure
  • Maintain files and databases and support office software and equipment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of general office management or administrative support experience, reduced to one year with a first-level university degree or higher
  • Experience providing administrative or operational support in an international organisation, government body or multinational company
  • Experience with administrative systems, databases or operational platforms such as ERP or shared-document systems
  • Familiarity with digital cooperation, emerging technologies or AI governance
  • English at United Nations Level II
  • Authorisation to work for the United Nations in New York
