The Central Africa Services Trade Specialist supports ITC’s CEEAC Services programme in Yaoundé through project coordination, technical expertise and capacity building. The consultancy advances services-trade liberalisation, regional policy work, stakeholder engagement and reporting under the African Continental Free Trade Area.

• Support programme coordination and stakeholder collaboration
• Follow communication with national services focal points and track requests and documentation
• Contribute to terms of reference and coordinate national and regional experts
• Track regional services-trade developments and prepare analytical notes
• Support institutional partners and capacity building
• Support workshops, seminars and conferences and prepare related reports
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps and action plans for selected CEEAC services sectors
• Contribute to workplans, technical reports and implementation reports on services-trade agreements

• Advanced university degree in economics, management, agro-economics or a related field, or a bachelor degree with two additional years of relevant experience
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in services trade or a related field
• Fluency in French and English
• Knowledge of AfCFTA protocols and the Central African business environment
• Understanding of priority AfCFTA services sectors and public and private sector issues in Central Africa
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
