Responsibilities
- Review the DCTS legal framework, customs procedures and existing HMRC guidance
- Define the toolkit structure, methodology and development workplan
- Coordinate consultations with customs administrations, HMRC and business support organisations
- Draft operational workflows, verification procedures, templates and checklists
- Peer review DCTS training modules for technical accuracy and operational relevance
- Consolidate stakeholder comments and finalize the validated customs toolkit
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international trade, international law, public administration, economics or a related discipline
- At least six years of experience in customs administration, trade facilitation or border management
- Expertise in customs procedures, preferential trade agreements and rules of origin
- Experience developing customs manuals, operational guidance, toolkits or training materials
- Excellent written and spoken English
