Social Media and Communication Support

UNV Uganda seeks Online Volunteers to expand digital outreach, public awareness and uptake of its Online Volunteering service. The volunteers will promote and create social-media content, engage organisations and communities, support virtual events, monitor outreach feedback and metrics, and work with the Regional Communication Assistant using supplied messaging guidelines and visual assets.

• Share and promote corporate and local content on digital and social-media platforms
• Develop posts, articles, graphics and short videos for local audiences
• Engage local organisations and communities to foster partnerships and expand campaign reach
• Organise and participate in virtual discussions, webinars and digital storytelling sessions
• Monitor and report engagement metrics and outreach feedback

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Creativity and a good understanding of social media platforms
• Active accounts on at least three of the named social-media platforms
• Fluency in English

• Experience in content creation, graphic design, video editing or project management
• Knowledge of Luganda
