Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of migration, environment and climate-change projects
- Monitor delivery against plans and recommend adjustments to field conditions
- Analyse policy, legislation and developments relevant to climate mobility
- Monitor expenditures and maintain approved project budgets and revisions
- Coordinate financial, administrative and technical delivery under IOM and donor requirements
- Plan and conduct capacity-building workshops for internal and external partners
- Maintain liaison with authorities, donors, UN agencies and civil-society partners
- Prepare reports, document lessons, develop procedures and supervise reporting staff
Requirements
- School diploma with seven years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in environmental and climate-change studies, political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with five years of relevant experience
- Experience liaising with governmental authorities, international institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced people, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Tajik and Russian
