Overview
Coordinates prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment across IFRC operations in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras. The officer embeds safeguarding in emergency work, advises leaders on risk and controls, strengthens survivor-centred support and delivers training.

Responsibilities
- Operationalize the IFRC PSEAH strategy across the region
- Advise leadership on safeguarding risks, controls and monitoring
- Integrate PSEAH measures into emergency preparedness and response
- Oversee safeguarding self-assessments and corrective action plans
- Strengthen survivor-centred referral and support capacity
- Translate investigation lessons into operations, policy, training and communications
- Deliver PSEAH training and safeguarding curriculum
- Report material risks and implementation progress to senior management
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a first degree with extensive relevant experience
- At least five years of substantive PSEAH experience
- Experience implementing PSEAH in humanitarian settings
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder processes and delivering training
- Fluency in English and one of French, Spanish or Arabic
- Nationality or legal work rights in Costa Rica, Guatemala or Honduras
