Responsibilities

  • Configure system software and supported ICT platforms
  • Install and remove static and deployable ICT systems
  • Configure network hardware, routing protocols and switches
  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP communications with specialist test equipment
  • Perform hardware installation and third-line maintenance on communication and core network infrastructure
  • Support ICT repair, maintenance and hardware-asset services for NATO operations and exercises

Requirements

  • Higher vocational training in telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related discipline with two years of relevant experience, or secondary education with four years of relevant experience
  • Experience configuring network hardware, routing protocols and switches
  • Understanding of TCP/IP communication protocols and network troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience installing and maintaining communication and core network infrastructure
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
