Job Description
Produces communications and media content for IOM programmes in the Marshall Islands and North Pacific, translating programme activity into stories, visual materials and public information while coordinating coverage with field teams, community members and the Communications Officer.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Deliver communication and visibility initiatives across the Marshall Islands and North Pacific
- Draft human-interest stories, video scripts, social-media captions and press materials
- Cover programme events and field visits through interviews, photography and video
- Prepare banners, posters and promotional products in line with IOM guidelines
- Coordinate communications workflow with programme managers and the Communications Officer
- Monitor local news and share relevant coverage for dissemination
- Provide non-official Marshallese-English translation as needed
Role Requirements
- High school diploma with six years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in media, journalism, communications or a related field with four years
- Strong English writing, speaking and editing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Canva
- Thorough knowledge of English and Marshallese

- Development or humanitarian work experience
