Responsibilities
- Manage daily implementation against approved budgets, workplans and indicators
- Direct project staff, consultants and operational coordination
- Track expenditure and ensure accurate financial and donor reporting
- Coordinate procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, adaptive management and project reviews
- Maintain relationships with the national partner, Project Board and UNDP teams
- Prepare annual workplans, progress reports and final delivery records
- Document lessons and develop follow-on projects and resource proposals
Requirements
- Master’s degree in medicine, public health, biology, chemistry, laboratory systems or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
- At least two years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or four years with a bachelor’s degree
- Experience managing a medical or public health project
- Experience with clinical or public health laboratories and quality management systems
- Experience procuring, supplying or maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies
- Fluency in English, Russian and Turkmen
