Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of the Resilient Philippines Project and other FAO animal production and health projects
  • Coordinate project activities with relevant partners and stakeholders
  • Prepare and support training, workshops, meetings and follow-up activities across animal-health technical areas
  • Collect and analyse data and support One Health advocacy and awareness initiatives
  • Monitor activities, targets and indicators against project work plans and logframes
  • Support project administrative and financial transactions in line with FAO guidelines
  • Prepare project reports, briefs, correspondence and communications for FAO and government partners

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or an advanced degree in epidemiology, animal health, public health or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience for DVM or advanced-degree candidates, or at least 5 years for non-DVM candidates without an advanced degree
  • Relevant experience in laboratory work, surveillance, epidemiology or community engagement
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Philippine nationality
