Project Coordinator, United Nations Joint Nutrition Programme

Coordinates Sierra Leone's United Nations Joint Nutrition Programme, supporting steering committee processes, programme delivery, monitoring, partnerships and evidence generation across nutrition, food security and climate-resilience work.

• Organise Joint Nutrition Programme Steering Committee meetings
• Coordinate delivery and monitoring of programme results
• Provide technical and operational support during implementation
• Manage partnerships, coordination and collaboration for cash transfer and nutrition work
• Support evidence generation and knowledge management
• Coordinate technical specialists across agencies
• Prepare technical and donor reports, policy briefs and presentations

• Advanced university degree in economics, agriculture, food systems, food security, nutrition, climate change, environmental science, sustainable development, international development or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management of development or humanitarian programmes or projects
• At least 4 to 6 years of experience managing multi-stakeholder or multi-partner programmes or projects in Sierra Leone
• Experience in nutrition and food security programming and familiarity with climate resilience and adaptation approaches
• Experience with donor-funded programmes, including proposal development, financial management and reporting
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning, nutrition and food security indicators, food systems, climate resilience and results-based management
• Fluency in English

• National consultancy for 12 months
• Role is office-based
• Assessed as an elevated-risk role for child safeguarding purposes
