Project Assistant, Health

The assistant will support IOM health projects for vulnerable migrants in Egypt by maintaining records and workplans, monitoring budgets, coordinating administrative actions, producing reports and data products, organising training and workshops and liaising with government and humanitarian partners.

Department: Migration Health Division

• Maintain health-project records and track activities against workplans
• Compile, summarise and present project information and data
• Monitor budgets, verify available funds and update financial information
• Coordinate administrative requests, clearances and follow-up across organisational units
• Draft progress reports, correspondence, briefings, graphics and statistical tables
• Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions
• Maintain files and respond to programme information requests
• Liaise with authorities, UN agencies, institutions and humanitarian partners

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, medicine or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with four years of relevant experience
• Experience liaising with governmental authorities, international institutions, UN agencies and NGOs
• Experience organising training, workshops or awareness campaigns and producing related documentation
• Proficiency with office software, spreadsheets and data analysis
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic
