Immunization Officer

Supports the Philippines immunization programme through planning, implementation, monitoring, equity analysis and technical assistance, working with health authorities and partners to strengthen systems, expand vaccination coverage and improve outcomes for children and underserved communities.

Department: Child Health Team

• Support immunization programme design, planning, implementation and delivery of results
• Analyse immunization data and monitor coverage, equity and programme performance
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building to national and subnational health authorities
• Coordinate partnerships with health authorities, WHO and other programme stakeholders
• Support immunization supply chains, micro-planning and demand-generation interventions
• Prepare programme reports, budgets, workplans and monitoring documentation
• Strengthen health systems and operationalise strategies and innovations for better immunization outcomes

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Health, Health, Global or International Health, Health Policy and Management, Medicine, Nursing or a related field
• Two years of relevant experience in health, public or international health, immunization, health programme management, health policy, research, knowledge management, epidemiology or a related field
• Proficiency in English and Filipino

• Temporary appointment for 364 days
• National Officer appointments do not include UNICEF-facilitated visa or work authorisation
