Overview

Supports delivery of the global SWAP initiative and its Zero Waste Finance Platform by coordinating project operations, procurement and budgets, producing GEF reporting, and researching financing instruments that connect municipal circular-economy investments with partners and investors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate SWAP activities, partner inputs and meetings across global and national project components
  • Prepare GEF implementation reports, briefings, presentations and knowledge products
  • Manage consultant and goods procurement, contract amendments, supplier setup and procurement tracking
  • Coordinate personnel contracts, travel requests, claims, workshops and event logistics
  • Administer budgets, payments, vouchers, requisitions and expenditure controls in Quantum and PIMS+
  • Research fiscal incentives, financing strategies, investment plans and cost-recovery models for zero-waste systems
  • Support investor engagement, municipal finance consultations, training and monitoring of finance indicators

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in administration, project management, environmental studies, finance or a related field, or a relevant bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least two years of project management, coordination or support experience with a master's degree, or four years with a bachelor's degree, in an international setting
  • At least two years of experience using enterprise resource planning software in an international setting
  • At least one year of work in waste management, environmental protection or sustainable development finance
  • Fluency in English
