Leads a major resilience programme in north-east Nigeria, coordinating planning, implementation and partnerships across humanitarian and development actors. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the resilience programme’s planning, implementation and administration
  • Monitor delivery, evaluate results and prepare programme and donor reports
  • Coordinate UNICEF teams and humanitarian and development partners
  • Represent UNICEF in programme coordination and partnership forums
  • Lead partnership communication and delivery against workplans, budgets and deadlines

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in international development, international relations, peacebuilding, political science or social sciences
  • At least eight years of international experience in programme or project development, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and administration
  • Experience working in emergency or humanitarian settings
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Specialised training or experience in resilience, nexus or durable-solutions programme management
  • Experience with joint United Nations initiatives
  • Country-level experience in fragile and humanitarian settings
  • Prior experience in a comparable programme-management role
