Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and evaluate assigned programmes and projects
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, IT, transport, finance, budget, human resources and medical-service requirements
- Administer delegated authority instruments
- Prepare analyses, reports, background papers and meeting materials
- Coordinate programme budgets, funding submissions and financial reporting
- Analyse operational data and present decision-support insights
- Draft service-level agreements aligned with United Nations financial rules
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field, or a first-level degree with qualifying experience
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in programme or project management, administration or a related area
- Experience with budget planning, reporting, performance reporting and United Nations internal controls
- Substantial knowledge of relevant United Nations policies, procedures and operations
- Experience in cross-cutting coordination, change management or transition
- Experience in a conflict or post-conflict setting
- English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
