Job Description

Manages results-based planning, monitoring and reporting for UNODC’s corruption and financial-crime programme, developing data and evaluation methods, overseeing implementing-partner agreements, supporting donor relationships and fundraising, and guiding strategic programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Manage results-based planning, monitoring and reporting across the corruption programme
  • Collect and analyse programme evidence and maintain transparent reporting processes
  • Develop monitoring methodologies, theories of change, logical frameworks and data tools
  • Prepare donor and corporate narrative reports and support strategic planning
  • Develop costed workplans, track implementation risks and support programme evaluations
  • Prepare and manage implementing-partner agreements and monitor performance and compliance
  • Cultivate donor relationships, support fundraising and prepare analytical programme outputs

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in public administration, international relations, law, criminology, economics, programme or project management, data analytics, statistics, social sciences, development studies or a related field, or first-level university degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible programme or project-management experience covering results-based planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting in rule of law, anti-corruption or a similar field
  • At least three years of data collection, data management and advanced data-analysis experience
  • At least three years preparing, negotiating and managing implementing-partner agreements
  • At least three years implementing, monitoring and reporting anti-corruption projects or programmes
  • English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking

Desired Criteria

  • Specialization in anti-corruption and governance, rule of law or results-based management
  • Experience developing or managing digital monitoring and reporting applications
  • At least three years of donor-relationship management experience
  • Experience in the United Nations system or a similar international organization
