Responsibilities
- Determine staff entitlements and appointments under UNICEF policies
- Process complex personnel cases and transactions across human resources systems
- Advise staff on rules, regulations, benefits and entitlement procedures
- Analyse non-compliant cases with People and Culture management
- Review complex transactions before payroll submission
- Verify monthly and bi-monthly reports for accurate salary entitlements
- Train colleagues on human resources rules, processes and benefit administration
- Coordinate with United Nations divisions and respond to staff enquiries
Requirements
- Completed secondary education
- Six years of relevant human resources experience, reduced to three years with a relevant bachelor's degree and further reduced for a relevant master's degree
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Hungarian or EU or Schengen nationality, or a valid long-term Hungarian residence and work permit held at application
