Delivers regional payroll, banking and disbursement services through UNDP’s Global Shared Services Centre, advising clients on benefits and entitlements, overseeing Quantum transactions and reconciliations, onboarding agencies and strengthening reliable payroll processes and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll, banking and disbursement services for personnel paid through Quantum
  • Advise clients on benefits, entitlements, staff rules and human-resources guidance
  • Monitor payroll transactions, compensation components and banking configurations
  • Resolve payroll and human-resources data issues with administrators and finance teams
  • Reconcile payroll expenditure and financial transactions in the General Ledger
  • Map workflows and onboard headquarters bureaus and agencies into payroll services
  • Train clients and staff on human-resources and payroll processes
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to payroll knowledge networks

Requirements

  • Secondary education, or a bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or an equivalent field
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible human-resources or finance experience with secondary education, or four years with a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using office software, spreadsheets, database packages and payroll systems
  • Experience applying UN or UNDP human-resources policies, rules and regulations
