Supports UNODC programmes that strengthen systems against money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing in the Andean region and Southern Cone. The project officer designs technical initiatives, develops practical tools and guidance, monitors delivery and builds public-private partnerships.

• Support design and implementation of national and regional technical initiatives
• Develop methodologies and products for managing money-laundering and financing risks
• Analyse public and private challenges and propose technically viable solutions
• Prepare guidance, recommendations and practical tools using international standards
• Monitor implementation of projects within the economic-crimes programme area
• Represent UNODC in technical forums and maintain strategic counterpart relationships

• Bachelor's degree in law, political science, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, accounting or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience
• Experience designing or implementing systems for managing money-laundering, terrorist-financing or proliferation-financing risks in public or private entities
• Fluency in Spanish

• Master's degree in risk management, administration or a related field
• Experience designing or delivering training on financial-crime prevention and anti-corruption
• Knowledge of global and national anti-money-laundering and anti-corruption frameworks
• Fluency in English
