Summary of Responsibilities
- Support design and implementation of national and regional technical initiatives
- Develop methodologies and products for managing money-laundering and financing risks
- Analyse public and private challenges and propose technically viable solutions
- Prepare guidance, recommendations and practical tools using international standards
- Monitor implementation of projects within the economic-crimes programme area
- Represent UNODC in technical forums and maintain strategic counterpart relationships
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law, political science, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, accounting or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience
- Experience designing or implementing systems for managing money-laundering, terrorist-financing or proliferation-financing risks in public or private entities
- Fluency in Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in risk management, administration or a related field
- Experience designing or delivering training on financial-crime prevention and anti-corruption
- Knowledge of global and national anti-money-laundering and anti-corruption frameworks
- Fluency in English
