Anti-Corruption and Climate Governance Consultant

Develops an audit guide, planning templates and virtual training on corruption risks in climate governance. The consultant researches international practice, facilitates workshops with Latin American audit institutions, advises on environmental oversight and delivers practical learning materials for public auditors.

Department: Corruption and Financial Crime Branch

• Draft an audit guide on corruption risks in climate governance and climate finance
• Develop audit-planning templates and practical guidance for supreme audit institutions
• Organise and facilitate two virtual workshops with OLACEFS auditors
• Consolidate workshop feedback and prepare virtual-course content
• Provide expert input to the COMTEMA dialogue on corruption and environmental governance
• Finalise and present the audit guide and supporting materials
• Design facilitator guides, participant materials, exercises, case studies and assessments for the virtual course

• Advanced degree in environmental policy, environmental governance, climate change, environmental law, public administration, public policy, economics, auditing or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least ten years of relevant experience in environmental governance, climate policy, environmental oversight, public auditing, anti-corruption or a related area
• Experience conducting research, policy analysis and analytical reporting on environmental governance, climate finance, oversight or public accountability
• Knowledge of corruption and integrity risks in climate governance, natural-resource management, environmental policy or public finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in oral and written Spanish
