Responsibilities
- Provide technical, operational and programme support throughout the early childhood nutrition programme cycle
- Contribute to programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and results reporting
- Support interventions on infant and young child feeding, complementary diets, micronutrients, growth monitoring and malnutrition prevention
- Integrate nutrition with early childhood development, nurturing care and multisectoral programmes
- Build partnerships, manage knowledge and strengthen implementing capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global or international health and nutrition, health research, policy or management, health sciences or another health-related field
- At least two years of professional experience in a developing country in nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, or maternal, infant and child health and nutrition care
- Experience in programme development, planning, management, monitoring and implementation support
- Proficiency in English
