Responsibilities

  • Develop the assignment workplan and methodology
  • Review investment policy laws, strategies and institutional context
  • Assess existing investment agreements and implementation gaps
  • Propose monitoring, control and harmonisation mechanisms
  • Draft bylaw provisions and supporting documents for investment agreements
  • Present drafts for review by SCISPM and OSCE stakeholders
  • Revise and finalise the bylaw based on stakeholder comments

Requirements

  • University degree in law, economics, business administration, commerce, finance or another related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in legal advisory, investment, trade, finance, commerce or export
  • Professional experience working with legal authorities, inter-governmental trade organisations, business associations or committees
  • Proven expertise in drafting legal documents supporting strategic action plans and task-force activities
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methods for implementation of investment agreements
  • Professional fluency in Tajik and Russian
  • Practical experience using Microsoft applications
