National Consultant for CRC Report Preparation and Coordination

Supports Moldova authorities in preparing, coordinating and finalising the combined sixth and seventh periodic report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.

• Coordinate preparation of Moldova child rights reporting inputs for the Committee on the Rights of the Child
• Support analysis of legislation, policies and programmes related to child rights
• Work with government institutions and inter-ministerial processes on report development
• Prepare technical inputs, methodology and timelines for report finalisation
• Draft and refine child rights reporting materials against LOIPR requirements

• Advanced university degree in law, human rights, public policy, social sciences, international relations or a related field
• At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in human rights, child protection, social policy, public sector policy development, monitoring or evaluation
• Experience analysing legislation, policies and programmes related to child rights
• Experience working with government institutions and inter-ministerial processes
• Strong knowledge of child rights, human rights reporting processes and national and international policy frameworks
• Excellent Romanian writing skills and working knowledge of English

• Contract duration: 6 months
