Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial, logistical, administrative and technical delivery of border-governance projects
  • Monitor work plans, results and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
  • Integrate gender, protection and human rights across project delivery
  • Develop monitoring, evaluation, reporting and information-management tools
  • Develop project concepts, proposals, methodologies and contingency plans
  • Coordinate donor, government, UN, civil-society and implementing partners
  • Deliver capacity-building activities for staff, partners and officials
  • Supervise, recruit, onboard and develop the Immigration and Border Governance team

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with four years of experience, or master degree with two years
  • Experience liaising with government, international institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
  • Experience managing projects with annual budgets above EUR 2 million
  • Experience leading multinational teams exceeding 12 people
  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced people, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
