Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial, logistical, administrative and technical delivery of border-governance projects
- Monitor work plans, results and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Integrate gender, protection and human rights across project delivery
- Develop monitoring, evaluation, reporting and information-management tools
- Develop project concepts, proposals, methodologies and contingency plans
- Coordinate donor, government, UN, civil-society and implementing partners
- Deliver capacity-building activities for staff, partners and officials
- Supervise, recruit, onboard and develop the Immigration and Border Governance team
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with four years of experience, or master degree with two years
- Experience liaising with government, international institutions, UN agencies and non-governmental organisations
- Experience managing projects with annual budgets above EUR 2 million
- Experience leading multinational teams exceeding 12 people
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced people, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
- Fluency in spoken and written English
