Responsibilities

  • Develop and test a public-private partnership model to expand the Mother and Child Benefit Programme in tea gardens
  • Coordinate implementation with the Department of Women Affairs, Bangladesh Tea Association and district and Upazila health offices
  • Provide technical support for programme delivery at national and subnational levels
  • Assess the feasibility of scaling UNICEF-supported MCBP cash-plus services to other locations
  • Produce a design document for wider implementation of the cash-plus model

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Public Administration, Disaster Management, Development Studies or a related field
  • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in social protection, cash transfers or social-sector programmes
  • Fluency in Bengali and English
  • Bangladeshi nationality
  • Availability for duty travel
