Overview

Coordinates reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health delivery with Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health. The consultant strengthens programme management, provincial partnerships, service quality, monitoring, supply continuity and emergency response across all six provinces.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national and provincial reproductive, maternal and child health programme delivery
  • Strengthen collaboration among health, youth, education and disability partners
  • Support midwifery strategy development and inclusive reproductive-health service standards
  • Analyse facility assessments and plan corrective action across six provinces
  • Monitor programme results, budgets, supplies and quarterly reporting
  • Support health-emergency response, advocacy and frontline capacity building

Requirements

  • Healthcare qualification in nursing, midwifery or medicine
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health field with seven years of experience, or master’s degree in an accepted public-health or development field with five years
  • Knowledge and leadership experience in sexual and reproductive health
  • Fluency in English and Bislama
  • Ability to work full time from the Ministry of Health office
